ICSI
Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is one of the advanced ivf technique where a single healthy sperm is injected into an egg. This increases the chance of fertilisation of the egg and the pregnancy rate. This process has a very good success rate especially for couples with very low sperm count or quality.

Who Needs ICSI?

- Men with obstructive azoospermia
- Couples with repeated IVF failure
How It's Done?
In this process a single sperm with the best shape (morphology) and swimming-ability (motility) is selected and is injected into the centre of the egg the injected eggs are placed in an incubator and checked the next morning for signs of successful fertilisation . the fertilised embryos are then cultured for 3-5 days before they are transfered into the uterus.
